Her leadership at Lostock, a one form entry school with high levels of achievement, has been described by external consultants as “exemplary” and “inspirational”. The school itself evaluated as having “a positive professional climate with the right balance of scrutiny, accountability and support”.

Prior to this, she was Deputy Headteacher of a two form entry school, Pikes Lane Primary School, Bolton, serving a diverse community of EAL and INA learners and before this she was Assistant Headteacher of Medlock Primary School, inner city Manchester. Her leadership covers the full range of socio-economic backgrounds - each presenting challenges and opportunities in very different contexts.

Vicki is currently working with leaders in school, enhancing staff and pupil leadership within the curriculum. She is also the Vice Chair of the Bolton Primary School Improvement Group, collaborating with headteachers across Bolton on a wide range of school improvement areas.
