CLT04 Teaching to Improve Memory: Building Knowledge Using Cognitive Load Theory - Practical Solutions for Subject Leaders and Class Teachers

PAYMENT

• Payments must be made within 30 days from the date of invoice/payment request.
• By paying the invoice schools agree to these terms and conditions.
• Payment is required in advance of any bookings in order to secure the provision. If payment is not made we are unable to guarantee the provision of the booking.

CANCELLATION

Cancellations should be advised via email to ECM Education Consultants Ltd (bookings@ecm-educationconsultants.co.uk).

COURSES

Should any course bookings be cancelled by the client the following will be applied:

• Cancellation received by ECM Education Consultants Ltd 14 working days before the scheduled event will be charged 50% of the agreed fee.
• Cancellation received by ECM Education Consultants Ltd up to 5 working days before the scheduled event will be charged 100% of the agreed fee.
• The full fee is payable if you do not cancel your booking and do not attend the course(s).
• Delegate substitutions can be made at any time at no additional charge.
• We reserve the right to cancel our courses if delegate numbers do not make the course viable. 
• We reserve the right to change the venue and course leader.
• Please note a discretionary administration fee of £40 may be made if you request to transfer your booking to a different date or venue in less than 14 days prior to the course to cover venue costs.

SERVICES (this represents any work other than a course)

If the client cancels each event within the following timescales the following payments will be incurred:

• Up to 6 weeks before = 100% of payment due
• Up to 2 month before = 75% of payment due
• Up to 4 months before = 50% of payment due
• Up to 6 months before = 30% of payment due.

NON-REFUNDABLE COSTS

• The client will be liable to meet any non-refundable costs associated with the booking/consultancy which cannot be cancelled regardless of when ECM Education Consultants Ltd is notified of the cancellation.

Whilst we understand that from time to time, clients may wish to cancel at short notice, the above criteria will apply.

PACKAGES

The following terms will be applied to Schools which have agreed to a Package: 

• Schools must spend up the value of their package entirety by the end of the academic year for which the package was purchased as unspent monies will not be refunded.
• By paying the invoice schools agree to these terms and conditions.
• Payment is required in advance of any bookings in order to ensure the provision. If payment is not made we are unable to guarantee the provision of the booking.

CANCELLATIONS BY ECM EDUCATION CONSULTANTS LTD

ECM Education Consultants Ltd reserve the right to withdraw a consultant if it is believed there is any reputational risk to the company. On the rare occurrence of illness or adverse weather conditions, ECM Education Consultants Ltd will not be liable for any charges incurred to the client. Cancellation charges will incur full costs irrespective of timescale if re-arranged date cannot be agreed. ECM Education Consultants Ltd does not accept liability for any failure to provide the services contracted, which is due to circumstances beyond the control of the company.

MILEAGE

All prices are exclusive of VAT and mileage. Mileage is charged at a rate of £0.45p per mile.

TERMS AND CONDITIONS FOR PUBLICATIONS

Any and all intellectual property rights in and relating to ECM Education Consultants Ltd, the Service and/or the Materials are owned by ECM Education Consultants Ltd . Unauthorised use of those Materials including reproduction, storage, modification, distribution or republication without the prior written approval of ECM Education Consultants Ltd is strictly prohibited and will result in prosecution. The names and logos of ECM Education Consultants Ltd and all related product and service names, designs, marks, logos and slogans are the trade names, service marks or trade marks of ECM Education Consultants Ltd and may not be used without the prior written approval of ECM Education Consultants Ltd. 

Updates will be provided free of charge for a period of 12 month after purchase date.
